I’ll agree with this. I travel to different destinations almost yearly and when I hear my relatives who come back home from Singapore or the States, they always complain about the airport.
Traffic. Inaccessibility. I find it stressful that our international airport is so outdated and lacks a lot of facilities for a comfortable waiting experience.
I look forward to the 1 year renovation plan that will be executed by internationally acclaimed architects!
2: Air pollution
Cars everywhere that emit so much smoke! And there’s paint that can absorb pollutants?! Wonder if that would really be a long term plan…
3: Unfriendly streets
Bike lanes are great, but it would be better if there were some kind of barrier for bike lanes and the main street because there are still tons of undisciplined drivers that don’t exactly follow these new lanes.
4: Public transport
A new bus system would be a great thing to impose in the streets of Manila. I’m not sure what would happen to jeepneys after this though.
5: Roads and traffic
Discipline for drivers would be the best place to start. So the MMDA or policemen must start enforcing their rules properly. How is it that people can drive so well inside Subic but not in Manila? The streets are also so disorganized. The paint job along the streets are gone. Public vehicles don’t follow rules either.
I’ve been wondering about what other people thought about traveling after I posted my daughter’s perspective of traveling. It’s certain that each person has their own way of traveling and who they want to travel with.
So I asked a parent traveler, Caz Makepeace from y Travel Blog, what she thought about traveling with children and what good (and bad) this would bring.
