I apologize for a few days of absence; I’ve been busy preparing for (a lot of other things, but lately mostly for) our Vegas and L.A. trip less than 2 weeks from now! I am freakin’ excited but more about that next time! For now, let me share with you one tip I always share with anyone who would…
This is really cool, and we do try this whenever we have so many clothes that we bring (since my sisters and I share luggage). It really helps!
I have been experiencing this saying a lot lately. It’s like whenever I think something has ended, something else happens - which is somehow similar, if not related to the previous. It’s disappointing that when you thought you could finally let out a sigh of relief, another problem or challenge has appeared for you to face and you’re not sure if you’ll be able to handle it well.
I know the saying pertains to opportunities, but I think that every challenge we face is also an opportunity for us to change ourselves - to make bad become good and to make good become better.
This was how I felt while driving this afternoon. It was really hard to drive a manual transmission car as compared to an automatic one. Not to mention the clutch was really hard to step on and you have to floor it every single time you need to stop or change gears.
However, I found it a really fun experience. I was laughing in my head while I was driving ‘coz I was so stupid when it comes to stepping on the gas and the clutch. Oh! The brake too! I kept stepping on the brake when I wanted to step on the clutch and stop, which made things harder ‘coz you’re supposed to floor the clutch first before stepping on the brake which would lead to a full stop.
In the span of 2 hours, I lost count when I reached 5 times wherein the car suddenly shut down due to my wrong stepping on the pedals. I think I reached at least 20 times? It was really hard and now my feet hurt.
P.S. Don’t wear thick soled shoes when driving. I couldn’t tell if I was stepping on the gas too hard. I’d suddenly notice that the engine was roaring and I already reached 3000rpm. O.o
P.P.S. Don’t keep looking at the meters. O.o I’m an idiot for doing so.
